And Again
I seek forgiveness from you, O Lord...
For I have failed to be an Ansar to a Muhajireen...
Pardon me, Ya Allah... For you are The Most Forgiving...

ToF #1
Assalamu'alaikum :)
As promised, here are few excerpts from ToF, a lil bit here and there, doodled on my ugly notebook with illegible handwriting hehh.
In the entertainment slot, you don't expect rap musics filling the atmosphere of the Plenary Hall. Using poetry as a measure to deliver da'awah (Masha Allah), this brother got me all teary.
The beauty of poetry (without musics) is that you can really really listen to each word uttered. And the silence let you alone feel it down to your bones of what is being delivered, digest the words, and understand. Hence the tears. It's like an acoustic performance, in simpler words.
In da'awah, one must use his wisdom and it is also of utmost importance to use the best intention, Lillahita'ala. The problem with us is that, we always think that we can delay. We always, and I mean, always think that things can be done tomorrow and days after. It is always in our minds that "I still have more times to do goods". But little do we know that death awaits us all.
In his poetry, Brother Muslim also mentioned that we should constantly work on our faith, to seek knowledge for when our faith increase, our imaan will automatically increase too. At times we will work too hard to seek knowledge but then at some point of times we stop and give up when we see life has no changes on us, not knowing what He has to offer, Masha Allah..
Also, we must not forget the purpose. Often that we forget the reasons why we are here in this world, why we are created, that makes us all lost in this life that is worthless. This reminds me of Surah Al-A'la, Verse 16-17 ;
Yet you prefer this life, although the life to come is better and more lasting.
Therefore, let us all make du'a ;
May Allah fill my heart with sincerity. If this is not good for me, take it away from me.
Wallahu'alam.
To be continued with ToF #2 soon, Insha Allah. I shall call it off. Good night, Assalamu'alaikum :)
The Twins of Faith
Assalamu'alaikum, readers (if any, yes).
It has been such a hectic weekend for me Masha Allah.. Weekdays have been too crazy I can't even breathe but amazingly I'm still alive, showing how good I am at lying by saying that I could not breathe.
Anyway, let's just not hit the bushes, shall I?
The Twins of Faith - The Biggest Islamic Family Festival in Kuala Lumpur ; 24-25 December 2011 ; PICC
Masha Allah it was beyond awesome, I still can't thank Allah much to express how grateful I am being given the opportunity to be there, as a volunteer and still managed to squeezed and peeked here and there to listen to the lectures and workshops.
The whole day yesterday (Saturday) I didn't get much chance to really get to listen to the lectures, even after my shift has ended I had to go back early due to period cramp and headache I was having. To avoid myself from not being able to work well today (Sunday), I thought that I'd better get some rest. And Alhamdulillah I felt better the whole day today.
Only this evening after my shift has ended approximately at 4PM that I managed to be in the auditorium to attend the lectures by different Sheikhs and enjoyed the performances.
It was a very emotional one for myself, I must say. Considering myself as the recent receiver of the Almighty's hidayah and blessings, I am still pretty much emotionally unstable when it comes to this kind of unexplained things.
I shed tears of fear, tears of happiness and as well as tears of sadness. But bottomline is, my tears were all for Allah SWT.
Masha Allah, He has given me one of the many opportunities to be at a place where knowledge can be seek and expanded ; in form of talks, workshops, poetry, nasheeds, etc. To be in the auditorium and have hands-on experiences, are absolutely priceless I must say. It was beyond words on how beautiful everything was. How I pray and pray that we will all be blessed by Allah SWT, Insha Allah..
There will be more events in the near future, Insha Allah.. Al-Kauthar will be organising more events as such, Insha Allah, if you are keen to seek knowledge. Do not hesitate to spend money on events for 'ilm for what you pay will benefits you in this life and most importantly in the Hereafter, Insha Allah..
And Insha Allah, I will update on few things that I managed to jot down during the lectures. It was not much for I just attended whatever lectures remaining. But somehow I do hope that I can benefit you as you are reading and spreading the knowledge, Insha Allah :)

This, Is..
I heard.
I think.
I forget.
I heard again.
I think.
And I forget again.
And I think.
I speak,
To myself.

I heard again.

Of Weddings & Tacos
The reunion of The Tacos is among the reasons why I love weddings. The priceless happiness that one can have by just having friends around, is more than a huge blessing to me, which I think can never be traded with anything, ever. Those are the hearts and souls which will stand by you through thick and thin (particularly when you have no one else but family and close friends).
Apart from all the joys of celebrating others' wedding, I noticed that I'm giving myself more and more benefits of being even more skeptical than I have ever been. Feeling empty, not having faith that I will one day achieve what my friends have achieved, and not being able to foresee that I will one day actually getting married, that's bad. This is what will happen when life has given you too much pain to bear. Not life in fact, but who was in your life.
Anyway, I wish that those who are married will remain happy throughout and may their marriages be blessed and last till Jannah, Insha Allah :)
To Yaya :
I wish you all the best, Ya =') Semoga jadi seorang isteri yang solehah, Insha Allah :)

That Foggy Sunday
And so I went up to Genting yesterday with so much excitement in anticipation of an emotional acoustic concert. And like what I had earlier expected, it was an emotional moment. Left in the evening, and 'cause someone drove like a rempit (despite the narrow road with 180 degree turns), we reached just in time to pray and in fact it was a tad early because they took quite some time to set up and filled the hall etc.
See, I've been a fan of oldies songs since I finally had enough of crappy modern songs which I can never capture the wordings. Different people has different taste in music for sure. I respect those who can bear banging their heads to modern, techno, house music or whatnots. But for personal preference, I would rather sing along to mellow songs from the 70's 80's or 90's.
And to be at a concert, an acoustic one, with a performer who is well-known to the world with his love songs and the famous song of a guy who will wait for his girl wherever she goes and whatever she does - is epic, as I can say.
The best part of an acoustic concert is that you can truly listen to each and every word uttered by Richard Marx, and feel it deep in your bones, and your mind will wander as he sings. But the worst part was that I can relate to most of his songs. But that's the beauty of it. You feel. You don't just bang your head and jump up and down and fly up in the air, getting all sweaty and in the end you feel extremely exhausted and, smelly. Acoustic concert gives you more chances to sit back, listen, think, feel, and cry (like I did).
It hurts so much to know when love means letting go, and no one can tell me that they've felt my pain. No strength can stop me now. Will someone show me how to live it over again?
How many dreams will end? How long can I pretend? How many times will love pass me by, until I find you again?

Gerhana Bulan
Apabila kamu semua melihat kedua-duanya (mengalami gerhana) maka dirikanlah solat.
- Hadis Riwayat Al-Bukhari dalam Sahihnya, Kitab Al-Jumu;ah, No. 1042
My Man
He knows how much I miss you.. May you be placed among the believers..
Happy Birthday, Atok... =') Al-Fatihah..
Quotes of the Day
"'Verily the soul becomes accustomed to what you accustom it to.' That is to say: what you at first burden the soul with becomes nature to it in the end."
"Truly when a man loves a thing, he repeatedly mentions it, and when he repeatedly mentions a thing, even if that may be burdensome, he loves it."
Al-Ghazali
Blessing
The girls have always been one of the many blessings that I have and which I am truly grateful for. Alhamdulillah all 5 of us managed to meet today despite the workloads and other obligations. I miss the good old times in uni. No worries. Movies at anytime we want. Penang, the beach and everything. I just want to go somewhere with them and recollect the memories. Insha Allah soon :))
P.S. Problems, sadness, they all are just like dark clouds. They come when you are enjoying bright sunny days but fret not cause it will go away sooner or later, it will never stay for long.

Ombak Rindu
There was something about Ombak Rindu that made me cry from the beginning till the end.
Truth is, there were few things.
- It relates to someone I love (but not the person you would normally think);
- The story-line was made accustomed to the novel - which is already not a one happy journey; and
- Aaron Aziz is in fact married and he doesn't know that I exist.
With minimal sense of embarrassment, I cried way too much I think. Imagine crying throughout a movie, I've never done that before, virgin, in that sense.
The purity of love and the loyalty of a man who changed/transformed/hijrah, and the fact that it was all caused by one woman whom he never thought he'd met and never crossed his dirty mind that he will ever fall too deep in love with her.
Stand up for love, fight for love, cry for love, forgive for love, accept for love, change for love - All was done for love ; which are way too mind-blowing for me, being in a state of singlehood.
But my tears could mean the other way round too as a matter of fact - Perhaps because I longed to feel love again, to love and to be loved, or because love itself has betrayed me. But love is never cruel, but it's us human beings who failed to value what love worth.
Love changed too, no matter how strong your love is for the one and only person whom you love wholeheartedly, eventually (either intentionally or accidentally) it will fade. With a blink of an eye, you've already lost it and you are compelled to move on with life without that love you once possessed for so long and thought you will forever possess it.
But at times, certain things/persons are best to live without, for reasons.
One way or the other, this movie has in many ways related to me. Maybe that was what caused the constant flowing of tears and running nose and headache throughout the 2 hours.
Go and watch it. Worth all the tears, as I personally think.

Sesalan
Hari ini hari Khamis. Sepatutnya saya pergi jumpa "Farid Kamil". Sepatutnya lah. Seperti minggu lepas. Dah stop tepi jalan dah ni, was contemplating nak pegi ke tak nak pegi ke tak. End up tak pergi sebab malas nak turun kereta sebab hujan. Sampai rumah, tanya Mama, Mama cakap Mama went and saw him. Harini dia duduk je. Memang ada rupa, lagi handsome, tinggi. Homaigottt. Sekarang menyesal tak sudah. Kena tunggu Khamis depan pulak -___-"
